Saving Hope
“‘No dog left behind’
The Saving Hope Foundation is a fully registered Charitable Trust set up in July 2017. It is a dog rescue and rehabilitation organisation whose rescue operation is experiencing exponential growth that won’t stop anytime soon because of the huge demand and need for its services. Since its commencement Saving Hope has rescued, rehabilitated and re-homed well over 1,000 dogs and puppies and the number keeps growing daily.”
Gutter Kitties
“Gutter Kitties is Auckland’s largest no-kill cat rescue, run by volunteers, and relying entirely on donations to make a difference to the lives of Auckland’s street cats.
‘We pride ourselves in running a no-kill shelter, and dedicate our time and efforts to rescuing timid, anxious and/or under socialised cats. A no-kill shelter is defined as ‘a shelter that does not kill healthy or treatable animals’. It does not matter if an animal is old, unsocialised, blind, deaf, traumatized or has a treatable illness. All of these animals are worthy of our compassion, all of them can find homes, and all of them deserve to.'”
HUHA
“Helping you help animals (HUHA) is a charitable trust dedicated to teaching empathy to the community and providing shelter for those less fortunate animals that struggle to survive in today’s disposable culture. HUHA is fun and interactive in many ways, designed to encourage the community to be proactive and take responsibility for the welfare of animals and the protection of our unique environment. HUHA actively works everyday to find homes and foster care for a multitude of homeless, abandoned, seized and abused animals.
