How It Works
1. Photo Submission: Upload the photo you would like to be drawn. Uploading multiple photos gives me a better understanding of your pet’s colours and features – if you upload multiple, just let me know which photo you’d like to use for the portrait. If you need help choosing, I can assist.
2. Final Approval: After I complete the drawing, I’ll email you the final portrait for your approval before printing.
If you feel something needs tweaking, such as adjusting a colour or detail, please let me know. I want you to feel confident that your portrait accurately represents your pet. Revisions are welcome within a reasonable range; any major changes may incur an additional fee.
3. Framing and Shipping: Once approved, your portrait will be printed, framed and shipped to you.
Portrait Details
Celebrate your pet with a custom A3 framed portrait! Each portrait is digitally hand-drawn with love, then printed on premium 275gsm matte paper using high quality inks that won’t fade over time. This will be a head and shoulders portrait unless otherwise requested.
You’ll also receive a high resolution digital copy of your portrait, perfect for enjoying on your devices, sharing with friends online, or even using as a wallpaper. It’s a great way to keep your portrait with you wherever you go!
Turnaround Time
The drawing, printing and framing typically takes 7-14 working days, plus an additional 1-3 days for shipping.Â
Rush Orders: If you need a rush order, please fill out the enquiry form and specify your deadline. A rush order fee may apply.
Waitlist: In case of a backlog of orders, please note that the standard turnaround time may be extended. The website will be updated with approximate dates.
Photo Tips
Lighting: Ensure good lighting to capture details and achieve the most accurate colours.
Distance: Avoid photos taken from too far away, as they may be blurry and lack detail. On the other hand, photos taken too close can distort your pet’s features, such as making the nose appear larger than it is.
Angle: Photos taken at your pet’s eye level provide the best perspective. You don’t have to stick to front facing shots, photos where your pet is looking up or off to the side can add great character to the final artwork.
Image Quality:Â Whenever possible, use original photos instead of images saved via Messenger or screenshots. Each time an image is shared through these methods, the quality may diminish.
Bonus Tip: If you have any, feel free to send close-ups of your pet’s eyes or any unique markings and small details that make them special! These can really help capture your pet’s likeness in the portrait.
Don’t worry if your photos aren’t perfect, I’ll do my best to work with them to ensure you’re happy with your pet’s portrait!
